The Story Behind My Book
An Awakening Journey with Sanat Kumara
For over twenty years, I had dreamed of writing a book about my spiritual experiences and the teachings I had received from the Ascended Masters. Although I had written many spiritual courses and teaching manuals, every attempt at writing a book came to a standstill after just a few pages.
As the years passed, I began to feel that time was slipping away. If I was ever going to fulfil this dream, I needed to make a commitment to myself and devote my time to writing.
The Inspiration Behind My Book
My connection with the Ascended Masters began over thirty-five years ago, and their teachings have become an integral part of my life.
I have always been deeply inspired by the Saint Germain Series, beginning with Unveiled Mysteries and The Magic Presence, written by Godfré Ray King in the 1930s. I discovered my first copy in a second-hand bookshop in Glastonbury in 2005. I was also inspired by Madame Blavatsky and her extraordinary dedication to the Masters and the spiritual wisdom she brought into the world.
These remarkable teachings awakened within me a desire to write something meaningful, a book that might continue to inspire others long after my own lifetime.
Yet, despite years of spiritual study and experience, I felt that so much of the information remained fragmented. I understood many aspects of the Seven Rays, the Ascended Masters, the Archangels and the Spiritual Hierarchy, but how did everything connect? How had the Spiritual Hierarchy come into being, and what was its greater purpose in the evolution of humanity?
Then my thoughts returned to Sanat Kumara, the great Being from Venus who, according to the ancient spiritual teachings, came to save the Earth millions of years ago. I knew of His great sacrifice, but what had actually happened when He arrived? How had His presence shaped the spiritual evolution of the Earth?
Something within me knew that this was where my book needed to begin.
My Dedication to Sanat Kumara
On my birthday, 27th July 2025, I made the commitment to put my other work aside and dedicate myself to writing.
I began by preparing myself physically and spiritually, creating a special meditation, A Journey to Shamballa. My intention was to journey to Shamballa, to meet Sanat Kumara and dedicate myself once again as a Server of the Light, offering myself as a clear channel for His teachings in service to humanity.
For two weeks, I practised this meditation every day, deepening my connection with Sanat Kumara, asking questions and receiving guidance that began to illuminate the mysteries I had pondered for so many years.
And so, my book began to unfold.
I had no chapter plan or structured outline. The teachings came through in their own way, sometimes as extraordinary downloads of spiritual knowledge that took days to assimilate and understand. I would research the information I received, discovering connections with other teachings, while confirmations appeared unexpectedly through people, circumstances and spiritual signs.
I often wrote during the quiet hours of the night, when I could hear Sanat Kumara more clearly. Sometimes I would look towards the night sky and see Venus shining above me, a beautiful reminder of the Being whose story was unfolding through my words.
The book seemed to have a consciousness of its own.
As each chapter emerged, so too did new levels of understanding and awareness within me. There were many profound moments of awakening, particularly within my heart, when I would need to stop writing and simply absorb the Divine Love and wisdom I was experiencing.
What had begun as a search for answers was becoming a journey of spiritual discovery and remembrance.
Bringing My Book into the World
By January 2026, I had completed the manuscript. After more than twenty years of dreaming about writing a book, I had finally accomplished it!
There was still the practical journey of editing, formatting and preparing the manuscript for publication. I wanted to preserve the integrity of the channelled teachings, while presenting them in a beautiful and accessible book.
I commissioned a professional designer to create the cover, incorporating the Star of Venus, which held such a special significance in my connection with Sanat Kumara.
By April 2026, my book was ready to enter the world.
A Journey of Awakening and Remembrance
Looking back, I realise that writing this book was far more than fulfilling a lifelong dream. It became a remarkable journey of awakening, bringing together teachings that had once seemed fragmented into a greater understanding of the Spiritual Hierarchy, the Threefold Flame and humanity's spiritual evolution.
The book begins with the arrival of Sanat Kumara and gradually unfolds the story of humanity's spiritual journey, eventually returning to where it began, completing the cycle of the Eighth Wave.
Although some teachings are complex, I wanted the book to be accessible, unfolding almost like a story, allowing readers to discover the deeper spiritual meaning within each chapter.
Throughout the writing, I experienced many moments of awakening, but towards the final chapters came the most profound revelation of all. Enveloped once again in Divine Love, I experienced a deep remembrance of my own soul's journey, my purpose in this lifetime and the Vow I had made.
I had set out to discover the story of Sanat Kumara and the spiritual evolution of humanity, but in doing so, I had discovered something profoundly beautiful about my own journey.
I cannot know how far this book will travel, or whose hearts it may touch, but I am deeply happy and grateful to have brought these teachings into the world.
My hope is that it will bring inspiration and understanding to others who, like me, have searched for answers, helping them connect the many threads of spiritual wisdom and discover the truth that resides within their own hearts.
For the greatest journey of discovery is the journey into the Self.
